Science Day 2007 - The Five Senses

This was a whole school event with children from our 5 oldest classes mixing up to make 5 new groups for the day - great for working with different age children and making new friends.

The focus of the day was the 5 senses, so each teacher organised activities to explore one of the senses. The photographs below are from the 'Touch' sessions - we were developing our descriptive vocabulary by playing the feely bag game.

This also feeds into our arts week, with the focus of the senses continuing all week.
