Le Club Français; the exciting French Club where your children learn through play!
This after school French club runs every term on Mondays from 3.25-4.25pm
The club leader takes care of the children from the end of school until the end of the club.
Le Club Français is an active language learning programme specifically designed to introduce French to early learners. Each club session consists of a language learning point, an opportunity to practise what has been learnt and plenty of games, songs and activities to strengthen this learning procedure.
Whilst making friends and interacting, the children are learning valuable social skills!
They will have enormous fun learning through doing, making, playing, singing and acting out mini-sketches featuring a whole range of vocabulary.
Course
We offer the foundation course (Le Cours d?Apprentissage) at Polehampton Infant School. The full course runs for two years but children can join at any time.
We provide all materials, parents just need to purchase the new member pack when their child first joins (£11.95) which consists of a CD, songbook, badge and folder for worksheets/craft works.
All children receive a course certificate every term (and a special diploma and badge if they complete the course), reward stickers, subject stickers, weekly worksheets and/or craft activities and have access to the club website with interactive games and stories.
All our teachers are native speakers or highly trained linguists. All have a full police check (known as an enhanced CRB) and we also have full Public Liability and Accident Insurance.
Cost and Booking
Places must be booked with the area organizer. We offer any spare places by letter which goes out to all parents each term. If you have not received such a letter or if you would like to put your child on the waiting list, you are welcome to contact the area organiser directly.
Fees are payable termly in advance and vary slightly each term due to the different number of weeks in each term (and bank holidays or school closures). Cheques should be made payable to Le Club Francais. Confirmation letters/e-mails are sent to all new parents but for renewals we can only send out receipts by e-mail so please keep the renewal letters for term date information.
