A Perfect Centrepiece
Forget those small home-chocolate fountains for sale that will serve a family of four, this is the real deal! The manufacturer recommends 40 guests, although we have found it will comfortably manage more with a top up of extra chocolate. This makes it perfect for group functions and children's parties.

How does the Chocolate Fountain work?
Simple and easy to operate, the fountain can be assembled in a matter of seconds. The heated base melts the chocolate (if pellets or chips are used), keeps the chocolate melted and a rotating screw carries the chocolate to the top of the tower where it then cascades down and the process is repeated.

Cleaning the Chocolate fountain
The chocolate fountain is easy to clean in warm soapy water.

What chocolate can be used?
The fountain will run effectively on as little as 900g of chocolate but it is better to put in enough to cover the uprights in the basin. For 40 guests you will need 1.8kg of chocolate, for more than 40 you can top up with additional chocolate as required.

1kg milk chocolate couverture chips will cost £8.50 + £3.95 P&P from www.chocolatetradingco.com

900g dark, milk, white or flavoured Callebaut chocolate chips will cost from £5.95 + £3.95 P&P from www.chocolatefountainwarehouse.co.uk/chocolate

Slab chocolate such as Galaxy can also be used. This may require softening in a microwave before adding to the fountain. A teaspoon of vegetable oil is also required to assist with the smooth-flowing of the chocolate.
