23 Nov 2007 - Newsletter 11

Dear Parents, Carers and Governors,

Bring your mum and dad to lunch week
I do hope everyone who came (nearly half the school!) really enjoyed their lunches this week. I had some very positive feedback, which I passed on to Mrs Potter and Mrs Palethorpe who work so hard to cook and prepare our excellent lunches.

Pantomime - next Friday
Oh yes, we are!! We're getting very excited about our trip next Friday to the pantomime. There are a couple of outstanding consent forms we need to collect before we can take every child. We will send out copies today with those children, so please return them as soon as possible - thank you!
Please note that all children will be required to wear their uniform for the trip. We will not be having a non-uniform day for the end of November.

School Christmas Lunch
Any outstanding Christmas lunch envelopes must be returned by Monday 26th November. If your child is having a packed lunch instead, please can you return the envelope marked Packed Lunch - thank you.

Christingle Celebration
This is designed especially for primary aged children, so do come and join us and 'light a candle in the darkness' at St Mary's Church on Sunday 9th December at 4.30pm.

PTA News
The PTA has been generously given 2 sets of brand new speakers suitable for use with game consoles. Unfortunately we are not able to use them at school, so we would like to offer you the chance to buy them. If you are planning on buying an X-box or Playstation this Christmas, this would make the perfect (cheap) addition, and also raise some money for the PTA. They are brand new, but we would take £10 for each of them since they're not current models. Please let us know if you're interested by seeing Claire outside Green class, speaking to Liz or Julie in the office or emailing us at polehamptoninfantspta@hotmail.co.uk .
Two brand new, boxed Creative Inspire G380 2.1 speaker systems (£10 each)
This system is designed to be used with almost any game consoles including Playstation, Game Cube, and X-Box. It consists of two smaller, black speakers with attached 2m cables, one black wood subwoofer, one wired remote volume control and one power supply adapter. The speaker power is 6 Watts RMS per channel (2 channels) and 17 Watts RMS subwoofer. It can also be seen on http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-Inspire-G380-multimedia-speaker/dp/B0002AGFV6/ref=sr_1_26?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1195597087&sr=1-26where it is listed at £26.99
