Newsletter No. 08
Friday 2nd November 2007

Dear Parents, Carers and Governors,

Volunteers Days
Many thanks to those who volunteered for this term's Volunteers Days and also to Mrs Clark for organising all the outside gardening work. If you find you are free between 10am-4pm tomorrow, do pop along. We will be painting inside and there is some gardening work for those who'd prefer to be outside.
This kind of event makes a real difference to the school environment - so Thank You!!
Tag Rugby
Just a reminder that Tag Rugby still has under 10 children attending at the moment, however the children who attended enjoyed themselves so much that Coach mark have confirmed that they are happy to continue on Tuesday mornings 8.00 - 8.50am even though they have only 7 children. If you would like your child/children to join in please contact Coachmark directly to book a place on 01628 820251 or on-line at www.coachmark.co.uk

Clipboards needed!
Blue class would like donations of clipboards for when they do outside work. If you have any lying around at home please can you bring them into the school -thank you.

PTA News
This week the PTA team are getting ready for our first evening fundraising event of the year - the Christmas craft and shopping evening on Friday 9th November (a week from today). We have some great craft stall holders coming, and we are still booking a few more in. Our workshops are beginning to get booked up, but there is plenty of space for either advance bookings or even casual slots that can be filled on the night, subject to availability. Please put this date in your diary, and find a few friends to bring with you; we are sure you will have a fun evening out together, with plenty of wine, soft drinks and chocolate to ensure it all goes smoothly! If you don't have your tickets yet, either ask in the office or see Ali or Claire outside green class. And don't forget, if you suddenly find yourself free on the evening itself and haven't booked, we'd still love to see you.
