Dear Parents, Carers and Governors,

Sports Day
Sports Day - New date -Wednesday 18th July at 1.30pm
Well, the weather finally got the better of us! It just didn't dry up quickly enough for us to use the field safely. I'm so sorry, as I know many people had taken tome off work and/or have commitments for next week. Fingers crossed for next Wednesday!

Year Two Leavers Presentation

We hope to see lots of our Year Two parents on Wednesday morning for our Year Two leavers presentation - tissues at the ready!

Year Two - End of Key Stage One Assessments
Today your child will be bringing home their end of Key Stage One assessments. Inside the envelope will also be a sheet outlining the attainment levels for all the Yr2 children in our school this year and the average achievement for all children in England last year.
We are very pleased with the attainment of all our pupils as well as their increased level of confidence and involvement in school life. I'm sure they will continue to make good progress when they move on to the Junior School.

Blue & Red Class Assembly
Well Done to you all! What a marvelous assembly we were treated to on Wednesday by Blue and Red Class. You were all so good with your songs, poems, dances, drawings and musical compositions.

Children's Art Exhibition
We raised £153.00 - Well done!

Parent Questionnaires
Thanks to everyone who completed either our Foundation Stage or Year Two parent questionnaires. I will send home a summary of both to each year group next week and pop them on the web site so everyone can see the findings.

Box Top Collection
We've got £49.20 from the Box Tops collection -
Fantastic!

Race For Life
12 members of "Team Polehampton" succeeded in their 5k run/walk in the Race for Life on Wednesday evening this week. We think we've raised over £500.00 in total! If you sponsored us on the form in the office, could you pop in and pay next week - thank you!
Good Luck to Mrs Dobson, who's running a Race for Life this Sunday with her daughter!

Twyford Festival
Thank you to everyone who took part and to both schools for sponsoring such a fantastic event!

We also have an unclaimed raffle prize from our Festival which can be collected from the Junior School
Details are: Pink Ticket no: 195 (code D89x WT4R)

The Lunch Bunch
Next week we will be swapping Thursday's menu with Friday's, therefore this will mean Lasagne etc will be on Friday's menu and Salmon fish cake etc will be on Thursday's menu. Hope this doesn't cause too much confusion!

School Photographs
Just a reminder that all photograph orders and payments need to be returned to the school office first thing Monday morning 16th July.
Thank you

Church Service at St Mary's

Please can we ask for help from parents/guardians who are able to walk with the children to church on Tuesday 17th July, to see their children's class teacher.

Last day reminder
Don't forget school closes at 1.50pm next Friday - the Juniors finish at 2.00pm.
