Dear Parents, Carers and Governors,
Mother?s Day Assembly
I hope you were all feeling loved and appreciated after our lovely assembly yesterday.
Well done to all our children for great singing and thoughtful poems, raps and words.
Red Nose Day ? The Big One
What wonderful creations were seen today for Red Nose Day. We have raised over £174 which is fantastic! Thank you very much!!!!
Yr1 Trip to Kew Gardens
I know you?re all gong to be very excited about Wednesday!!!
Please make sure you arrive early at 8.45am, as the coach will not be able to wait. It must leave at 9.00am. The children will be back for hometime as normal at 3.20pm.
There will be a meeting at 9.00am on Monday morning for the parents who have volunteered to accompany the children, so you are clear about the procedures.
Good News for Year 2
Your teachers have organized a fantastic trip for you on 11th June to Legoland. This will be an educational trip with the children attending brilliant workshops on gears and forces using all the lego equipment. There will be a short amount of time to look around, but we will not going on the rides and games. We thought this was good to mention now!

Morning time around Blue and Green Classes
After Easter, we will be opening our new Red class. This will dramatically increase the numbers of children and adults in this area, as we have 23 new starters. We need to ensure that access is safe and calm. Please can you help in a couple of ways.
1. We will be using a ?One way system?, coming in the usual way then leaving via the hall and down past the office.
2. Please only come in if you really need to see your child?s class teacher and it cannot wait until the end of the day. Green class children have all been here at least a year and should be coming in independently. Many of Blue class children can also come in alone, especially our September starters.
We really want to give all our new children the smoothest start, so let?s all work together to help our youngest children - thank you!
PTA fundraising
Thank you for your very generous donations towards our sponsored sing. You raised a massive £1,126.25. This amount has yet to be ?gift aided?, which means a few more pennies in the pot! The disco raised £193.00 and Yr2 cake sale raised a further £84.40. Thank you again.
Last day for the Cash for School tokens
Yesterday?s Twyford Advertiser had the last token in yesterday?s paper, so please take any you have to the office. We have raised the required 200, but would like to raise as many as we can in order to increase our chances of earning more cash for the school. Thank you for your generosity.
Local Weather Forecast
Forecast to be sunny with a few clouds on Saturday and the possibility of rain on Sunday.
Have a great weekend,
