Cinderella Panto
We had a fantastic time at the pantomime this week - a huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers for working so hard, particularly our dinner ladies who worked through without a break. And to Mr Purton, for being such a good sport!
Christmas Fair
I'm looking forwards to seeing everyone at our Christmas Fair tomorrow from 2.00-4.00pm. There have been so many kind donations and so much work behind the scenes already, so thanks a lot to everyone!!!
Yrs 2 Admissions into Primary
Important Information for Year Two Parents!!!
You should have received your admissions forms from the Local Authority by today.
If you have not received your form, please contact the admissions department on 0118 974 6000. Ask for Priamary Admissions.
Open Day - 9th January 2007 @ 9.15 a.m.
We will be holding another Open Day for prospective parents on Tuesday 9th January at 9.15am. If you know of any families who might like to come along , do mention it to them. Also that we can take people from out of catchment too, if we're not full.

Great Fire of Polehampton
Our Year Two Great Fire of London project has popped up in the Twyford Advertiser this week. A great topic that had a very dramatic ending!!
Age Concern
Some of our Year Two pupils visted Age Concern in Twyford today to sing carols and songs from our Christmas show. This is a regular visit we do each term and it's so nice to build relationships with our local community, particulalry those who couldn't always make it out to see Christmas shows or nativity.
Bonus Week
Please keep bringing in these valuable little tokens. Once a term there is a bonus week, where the school can earn more Box Tops helping raise more funds. Thank you to parents who kindly donate and a big thank you to our counters.
Are We Nearly There Yet?
The children are working extremely hard for this year's nativity play. Please use the tear off slip at the bottom of this Newsletter to order your tickets. Numbers are restricted due to Health & Safety, so we must implement the first come first serve policy. We have allocated two adults per pupil to ensure everyone has family members to watch their performance. Please indicate if you would like additional tickets and we will try to accommodate as best we can. Please return tear off slip by Thursday 7th December, which will allow us time to allocate any spare tickets. Thank you.
"SHARE THE LIGHT" - A CANDLELIGHT ADVENT SERVICE - 4PM SATURDAY DECEMBER 9TH, ST MARY'S CHURCH, TWYFORD. Tired from all that Christmas shopping? Come and take part in a short, family friendly service designed to help us with the spiritual preparations for Christmas. The service will include a collection for CMS, (The Church Mission Society) an organisation that works with Christian communities across the world. "Share the Light" is part of a yearlong commitment by the members of the Twyford Area Local Ecumenical Partnership to pray for families and individuals in our community.
