Dear Parents, Carers and Governors,
Harvest Assembly
There are many days when I feel proud of our pupils and today was certainly one of them as they sang beautifully, and told us poems and prayers. Thanks to all the staff for all their hard work, particularly Mrs Smitheyman and her superb guitar playing!
I was overwhelmed by the number of parents, friends and family who could celebrate with us today - it was lovely to see you here today.
Thank you so much for all the kind donations that have been sent in for the charity "FAITH". The tins will be displayed at St Mary's Church for the Sunday service, then given out to the homeless in Reading next week.
Bring Your Mum or Dad to Lunch Week!
We are now so proud of our school dinners and our new company, Edward & Wards, that we would like to invite you to join us for a school dinner! We have 20 places each day for the week beginning 9th October. The cost will be £1.88 for each adult meal, £1.60 as usual for a child's meal. We need to book the adult meals in advance so Mrs Potter can order the correct stock. So please book meals by Friday 6th October at the latest. If you arrive at 12.00 and allow about ¾ hour, then you will have time so enjoy a meal and spent a bit of playtime with your child. Please fill in the slip below.
Individual School Photos
We are using a new photographer for the individual school photos. We are pleased to announce they offer family portraits. If you would like a family portrait, please use the tear-off strip below. Please note, family photos will need to be completed before school begins, and the photographer will be available from 8.15 a.m. onwards.

Persil Stars
This scheme is now sadly coming to an end. We have collected over 3,500 stars to enable us to purchase art and craft materials for our pupils. We would like to say a big thank you to parents their contributions and a big thank you to the children for getting their clothes dirty in the first place!!!!
