Newsletter No. 21
Friday 15th February 2008

Dear Parents, Carers and Governors,

Junior School Ofsted
When I spoke to the Junior School this week, they seemed very happy with the outcome of their inspection. When it is published I will include a link to the website on this newsletter.

Year Two Prayer Journey
Our year two children enjoyed a lovely session with Revd. Sally yesterday, doing craft activities that encouraged conversation and thought about prayer. Thanks to the parent volunteers who helped with that event, it all ran very smoothly.
Have a look on our gallery page for photos.

Chinese New Year Celebrations
I was very impressed with Blue Class’s Dragon Dance this week – they danced all over the school so everyone had a chance to enjoy it.  If you have a look in this week’s Twyford Advertiser there’s a lovely picture of some of the children.

Blue Class Plea
If anyone has a clear out this holiday and has finished with their play buggies, Blue class would really appreciate using them. Thank you.

Games for Wet Play
The children have asked for new things to play with on choosing time and wet play.  If you are having a clear out over the half-term we would be very grateful for any of the following:-
kinnex wheels, board games, puzzles, lego, dressing up clothes, marble run, lego, wooden train sets, small toy animals, used postcards from abroad – thank you.

Disco – Sold Out!
Thanks to the PTA for organising this again tonight. Please do not come if you haven’t been allocated a ticket, as the event is sold out and we’d hate to turn away a child on the door.

Active Kids
We have started collecting Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers, you will find the collection box in the Reception area.

PTA News
Please can any outstanding sponsor money be collected over the half term and returned to school asap – thank you.  There are some great photos on our Gallery Page!

Local Weather Forecast
Sunny !

Have a lovely half term – see you all on Tuesday 26th February
